Paul Riddell is a writer and photographer who divides his time between Aberdeenshire and Shetland. His photographic interests include Commercial, Editorial, Events, Landscape, Photojournalism, Portraiture & Travel.

He shoots mainly with Hasselblad cameras, the H6D-100c and X1D-50c, which yield fantastically detailed images with great colour fidelity. Paul also works with a Sony a7R III. He has a PfCO from the CAA which permits him to carry out commercial aerial drone photography and videography projects.

Paul was one of the photographers chosen for We Are Here, the artist Jeremy Deller's tribute to those who lost their lives at the Battle of the Somme. The results from Shetland can be seen on the We Are Here page on this site.
